Agadir is an Atlantic resort city rebuilt after the 1960 earthquake, with a long crescent of beach and reliable sun. It is 252 km from Marrakech, about 3 h 5 of driving. Your driver will stop on the way whenever you ask.
The road drops through the Argan valley and the Souss plain, and the temperature climbs as you go.
